Every successful project at Momentum begins with strong leadership and a clear vision – qualities that Co-Owner and Operations Manager Adam Zylka brings to every build. From his early days framing houses as a teenager to co-founding one of Ann Arbor’s most trusted design-build firms, Adam’s career has been defined by craftsmanship, organization, and a commitment to doing right by the homeowner.
With a Construction Management degree from Michigan State University and years of hands-on experience managing large-scale residential projects, Adam combines technical precision with an approachable, people-first leadership style. He thrives on being involved in every stage of a project – from the initial design discussions to the final walk-through – ensuring that Momentum’s clients always feel supported, informed, and confident in the process.
Adam’s leadership is grounded in collaboration. He’s deeply connected to each department – sales, design, and production – keeping the Momentum team aligned and energized. His most memorable experiences, including building a home on Mackinac Island during the dead of winter, reflect both his dedication and his willingness to take on any challenge with thoughtful planning and perseverance.
Outside of work, Adam’s life is rooted in the same values that guide him professionally: hard work, curiosity, and appreciation for the world around him. Whether he’s hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, or tending to his bird feeders at home, he brings the same patience and passion to everything he does.
Through every build, Adam continues to embody what Momentum stands for – craftsmanship, transparency, and genuine care for the people and projects that make each space extraordinary.
